I said I am not trusting a potentially faulty PCR test, besides she had no symptoms, I was fine and was there every day, all the nursing staff were still going into her room without protection and later they encouraged her to walk the halls for exercise. I had previously advised the hospital that my wife's wishes were for them NOT to administered any MRNA containing products to my wife. The upside of testing positive for covid was she got a free private room.

But averaging over a large number of people it could have valuable information about an infection running through the population.
The antibody test showed a strong line on the test strip when I had a mild form of Omicron and a few days later it diminished and after that there was no trace left. I know that the test strips are not PCR tests, just wanted to point out my experience with them.

Mentally, cognitively, intellectually separating from the mass — who are happy to inject themselves and their children with poison — is fine. Soon as I read he had died 6 months prior to covid roll-out I was certain he was murdered - I've seen him go full blast on outing deep state and he most definitely would have blown the whistle on this. I say this because my dad was an admiral who was the first flag officer in navy to liason with media, he was public relations officer. In order for any media outlet to use a military officer's name, it has to have permission from military to use that officer's name. I checked every single officer's name used in RRN and they all are legitimate, have excellent backgrounds and are real. If RRN didn't have permission to use their names, the military would have sued that site owner into oblivion long ago. I agree. The PCR test when used with a low number of cycles (up to 26?) would be a good indicator over a large number of people tested for the presence of the virus in the population. Individually, a positive test may be a false positive or a negative result may be a false negative, since there is a certain percentage of error. But averaging over a large number of people it could have valuable information about an infection running through the population.
The antibody test showed a strong line on the test strip when I had a mild form of Omicron and a few days later it diminished and after that there was no trace left. I know that the test strips are not PCR tests, just wanted to point out my experience with them.
What Mullis said is that it would ALWALYS give a false positive. My husband worked with PCR when he was on the research team of a Nobel prize winner; he has over 50 yrs research as a virologist and immunologist. He says It is not a test and there is a video of Mullis saying it should never be used as a test. What you describe is a variant. Could you explain how it would be used as a test? Just curious, what is your background?

Kary's easily misinterpreted remarks here were made to emphasize, to a layperson audience, the fact that PCR was being abused to suggest that the HIV virus was the primary cause of the immuno-suppressed state. Kary is explaining that finding evidence of HIV in someone can not be taken as conclusive proof that HIV was the primary cause of the immune-deficient state. And Kary's absolutely right as far as that goes.
As to myself, I was working in molecular biology and virology in the late 80s and early 90s, initially under a grant from Fauci's NIH, later from private sources.
I was witness to (and in some sense, victim of) Fauci's fraudulence and I share Mullis's contempt for the man. Fauci absolutely gutted important basic research funding in favor of the scare-du-jour of the day, then HIV.
The 'AIDS epidemic' coincided with an epidemic of Amyl Nitrate ('Poppers') abuse among the sodomite cohort. Yes, I know HIV does have immuno-suppresant properties, but so does drug abuse. The fraud du-jour Mullis was opposing there was the lie that PCR detection of HIV equals proof that HIV caused the diseased state. A lot of people test positive for HIV but do not develop immuno-deficient syndrome.
Fauci was, and remains, a horrible, corrupt, political bureaucrat who wrecked NIH's research priorities beginning with the AIDS scamdemic in the late 1980s.
