I am now of the mind that we were subjected to propaganda about that as well.
That narrative may have been as trustworthy as a doctor with Remdesivir.
There is apparently no record in any German communications* of a campaign of mass murder, indeed, the final solution seems to have been to physically deport all Jews from Germany via the Madagascar plan and the haavara agreement.
* The allies had access to German communications throughout the war, including daily from the "death camps".
The Red Cross also had access to the camps, but not to the Soviet Gulags.
The book Other losses by James Bacque covers the intentional murder of 1 million Germans after the war, in the Rhine meadows, under Eisenhowers orders.
I visited the museum at the bridge at Remagen. Photos on the wall there showed camps full of German prisoners and stating that many tens of thousands had died due to exposure and starvation?
There is also testimony from American guards that food was destroyed and food warehouses refused delivery, or otherwise turned away and water poured away in front of the starving prisoners.
Regarding Dachau. I used to have a video of an engineer systematically going through the alleged gas chamber and showing in detail precisely how it could not possibly function as such.
There were certainly delousing chambers and the clothes hanging outside as evidence of stripped prisoners, would likely be the clothes airing to remove the Zyklon B used for delousing.
Starvation and Typhus were widespread and not helped by allied bombing of supply lines.
The same can be said for Auschwitz. David Coles video explains some of the obvious anomalies, but there are numerous details where what you see, cannot possibly match what we were told.

He did not say the jab should be forbidden, but certainly people should be warned that this could happen. He took a second shot on instigation of his doc, who told him the first reaction would not repeat ! I hope he found another, honest, doctor. Thank God he recovered. I hope for this artist, that she too recovers. She is so much younger.

I am a student of War 2 history and I have never heard of Eishenhower ordering that.
I was stationed in Germany when the Wall was up and then down; I strolled through Dachau concentration camp and that is pretty hard to fake.
You are correct that Stalin killed FAR more people than Hitler and the gulag probably still operate today in some form.
