We still have the scripted questions about "Are you up to date on your flu vaccine?" "Are you up to date on your covid boosters?" (Whatever that means). We ask these empty, go nowhere questions at triage intake. But nobody is tracking this stuff. No-one is collecting the data on how many covid and flu shots people have taken and what their health was like before 2019 compared to today. I feel like patients say, "Yes", they have taken all the vaccines out of a concern I will judge them for not having done so. (They clearly don't know me). Just the way the questions are asked puts pressure on people. Some think I am encouraging or inviting them to take a vaccine right then and there.
