But in fact they are ALL doctor-caused. I had a friend’s son work a few days with me, I was renovating a Victorian house in West Roxbury. The boy had just turned 20, and was the product of public schools here in Massachusetts. He “identifies” as a transgender boy, wanting to be a girl I guess. The father is a good friend and I was on my best behavior. We were demoing a bedroom that would become a master bathroom. It was old lath and plaster so I had N-95 masks we wore. As we were finishing Jake took his mask off and he had all white plaster dust around his nose, so I said look at the dust that the mask let through. Now imagine a microscopic virus, it would go right through that mask, you see they could never work on Covid! Well that got him started. I said if dust that big got through. As he was taught he said an N-95 will stop the virus, people died and I hate that. Jake ran down the stairs and went outside completely upset. His father was downstairs and went out to talk to his son. He came back and 1/2 heartedly apologized. I said to him that at school you were taught to question people like me, and your parents right? He said oh yes. I said maybe you should consider questioning the people that were teaching you that. I know your father loves you and would never do anything to hurt or harm you, your trust should lie with your parents #1. This again didn’t go over well. He said you tell me I’m a good kid but I don’t believe you think that. I said Jake part of living in a free society where people have the right of free speech means you have to be able to deal with people with different opinions than yours, this is what freedom is about. I bring this up because our society has created a generation or two of people who believe they are ultra tolerant. Their ultra tolerance has turned into complete intolerance of people like me. They completely cannot deal with people who don’t agree with who they are or what they e been taught. Their ultra tolerance liberal communist left has destroyed this generation. I’m not sure how you correct this if you were to start over. In my opinion Jake is unable to hold a job or deal with other people in any type of social atmosphere.
I agree, an entire generation have been stripped of their ability to function in the "real world". You gotta be able to get along with folks, communicate, and be humble. There is a sense of entitlement coupled with college debt. The only hiring I'm seeing in my neck of the woods is in the trades, not cushy office jobs.
Part of the problem and I am not sure how to word it exactly, is coming to terms with what happened means accepting that the people in positions of power/authority in our world are embracing evil and trying to kill us. That's psychologically pretty rough when you are taught the exact opposite. Covid woke me up and almost broke me because of this exactly and if it wasn't my faith in God, I'm not sure I would have been able to face that level of evil.
I 100% agree too as far as masks go, if you want to wear a mask, go for it, but anything that lingers in the air from a cough or sneeze...our immune system is our only real protection.
